However, legacy standard General-Purpose v1 (GPv1) storage accounts do not support ZRS (they only support LRS, GRS, and RA-GRS). To enable ZRS, you must first upgrade the storage account to General-Purpose v2 (GPv2) through a simple, non-disruptive metadata update. Once upgraded, you can then change the replication setting to ZRS. Therefore, the very first step you must perform is to upgrade the account to general-purpose v2.
